It’s a fully weatherproofed version of the company’s indoor lifts, specially adapted for life outdoors. It’s perfect for any home or outbuilding which is approached by stairs, or for accessing split-level outdoor space such as a terraced yard, raised decking or patio steps.
The Acorn Outdoor Stairlift incorporates a package of special features which together make it suitable for use outdoors. Protective coatings are applied to metal and electronic components while outdoor grade plastics are used to form the stairlift’s outer casings. An easy-clean non-porous outdoor seat is installed and a fitted waterproof cover protects the carriage when not in use. The Outdoor Stairlift can also be easily disabled to prevent unauthorised use. Just lock the ignition and take out the key.
